It was so nice to photograph Ana & Garfield elopement. They are both talented writers and planned an intimate but carefully designed wedding with some of their closest family members and friends. The ceremony was officiated by David in Central Park underneath the Bethesda Terrace and afterwards we went for photos through the Park and then some more in Downtown NYC. We loved to be able to shoot at dusk, with the lights of the city and the street reflections and smoky effects, it was challenging but really exciting. We finished the session at the hotel where they were staying, The Beekman, a wonderfully restored building that we really recommend for eloping couples since it’s an amazing place and very close to the marriage bureau.
