Last weekend when asked by a couple what was our favorite kind of venue for a wedding we said that every place has its own special qualities but what we find really special are weddings taking place in private homes. Of course for large weddings this can be often unrealistic but for intimate weddings we truly love to see how couples or their families host the weddings in their own homes. One example of this is Emily & John’s wedding which took place at Emily’s parents’ home in the Hudson Valley, not too far upstate NY. They asked David to officiate the ceremony and we were delighted to spend the afternoon with them and their cute puppy afterward for some photos.
