Leanne and Lio’s wedding soiree was the perfect definition of a chic, modern, New York wedding. On their day we met them at the W Hotel on Union Square and started with pictures of the bride and groom getting ready to capture afterwards an adorable first look moment at her suite. After the first look and family portraits in Union Square we were able to ride with the bride and groom for photos at the Washington Square Park on a vintage checker yellow cab they had booked. So cool! Being Lio from Paris it seemed proper to take pictures on the beautiful street near the Park where the French House is.
The beautiful St. Xavier’s Church was the place where the traditional but succinct ceremony took place. It was great to have the wedding party escort these two from the church to the venue with some streamers, flags, and tambourines. A fun parade down to the Manhattan Penthouse where the great party was about to begin with incredible musical performances and their own Rock and Roll karaoke band for the guests to show off their vocal range, starting with the super talented Leanne and Lio. Yeah… what a great night!
