We are a team of photographers based in NYC. Guided by creative passion and intention, we photograph people with a sensitive photojournalist approach, which means we look for connection in shaping images that represent people's inner & natural beauty. From elopements to intimate weddings to larger events, we care about people's lives and ways to express joy and celebrate love. Visually, our influences merge European cultural sensibilities, NYC’s underground spirit, and a hint of 1980s Hong Kong cinema.
Leila Jacue has a Master’s in Visual Communication, specializing in photography. She has 10 years of experience as an NYC-based elopement and wedding photographer with a unique sensibility for emotions and visual storytelling. Her wedding work goes in parallel with her photojournalist/editorial work for different media, including Glamour Magazine, GQ Magazine, Highsnobiety, and the NY Fashion Week. David Leon has a Master’s in Fine Arts focusing on fine art photography. He works as an art director for Leila’s shootings and a second shooter specializing in capturing the general vibe, details, and candid shots.
Unobtrusive and uncontrived, we seamlessly immerse ourselves in each moment without disrupting it. For us, being wedding photographers means relinquishing control and witnessing the natural unfolding of events, always prepared to capture them artistically. Ultimately, we stay attuned to the flow of the day, anticipating the uniqueness of the moment.

- We believe in contemporary wedding photography created with a stylish yet fun approach, capturing the excitement of the couple, showing love and connection, and interactions with the guests, and depicting real moments full of life. We love the city’s cultural melting pot and are very drawn to capturing MULTICULTURAL, same-sex marriages, and personal and unique weddings and elopements. We are also vegan-friendly and love to shoot plant-based weddings.
- We have 10+ years of experience photographing weddings and elopements in NYC. It's been a wild ride! We are so grateful to have witnessed so many couples' celebrations and we're still as excited as the first day, with the bonus of having tons of experience in the field.

- New York is a busy and constantly changing city. We have expert knowledge of the city, know the most incredible locations, and how to move around in the easiest and least stressful way.
- We are flexible and reasonable. We are open to finding an alternative time on short notice in case something unplanned happens.
- Our fully legal marriage ceremony service is offered in most of our ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES and you could pick a location different from the City Hall. David performs a short and sweet ceremony similar to the one at the City Hall but more personal and without the waiting times.
- We are located in Manhattan, New York City, and currently, we serve weddings and elopements in NYC 5 boroughs and beyond, plus destination weddings.
