NY City Hall Wedding and reception at The Carlyle

NY City Hall weddings are on the rise. Their appointment system really works and it’s a very efficient way to get married without tons of fuzz and have a low-key intimate celebration. These two booked us for a post-ceremony shoot at the City Clerk and a reception with their family members and friends at the iconic Carlyle Hotel, a gem of the Upper East Side in Manhattan.

Leila & David are a team of elopement & wedding photographers based in NYC. We both work with a hybrid combination of film and digital photography, specializing in a chic, photojournalistic editorial style with a natural, free-flowing cinematic feel. We capture genuine joyful emotions and key events, while also catching meaningful “in-between” moments, focusing on the couple and the ambiance - and we always love to capture the energy of the city or the venue's vibe
